PYMATUNTING SPORTSMEN’S CLUB

HOUSE RULES 2008

 

1.   Members must have paid to date membership to use clubhouse grounds.  If you do not have

      your card, you must purchase a duplicate card for a fee of $2.00.  YOU MUST HAVE A

      MEMBERSHIP CARD WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES.

 

2.   Member is responsible for conduct of him/herself and their guests.  Guest must leave when

      member who signed them in leaves.

 

3.   No guests may purchase alcoholic beverages, but a guest may gamble.

 

4.   Authorized personnel and/or employees ONLY are allowed behind bar, in kitchen, beer

      room, offices, basement, etc. unless special activity warrants exception.  Bartender on duty may grant

      permission behind bar.

 

5.   No children allowed to sit at bar at any time (anyone under 21), no one under 16 permitted after

      10 pm.

 

6.   THE USE OF PROFANITY OR RACIAL SLURS is not permitted and you must conduct yourself

      in an orderly manner at all times and have due respect for other members, employees, board

      members, guests.  You will be given one verbal warning from either an employee or board member,

      next warning you will be asked to leave.

 

7.   If asked to leave the premises or you are refused alcoholic beverages at the discretion of the

      bartender, manager, board member, you must comply.  If you surrender your membership card for

      being refused alcoholic beverages or any other reasons, you will be fined $15.00 to have your card

      returned to you.

 

8.   Nothing belonging to the Club is to be used or removed from the grounds without proper authority.

       Anyone caught destroying Club property either inside or out, including parking lot, will be subject to

       expulsion and/or termination of membership and fined for the cost of property replacement.

 

9.   Anyone caught stealing Club property or any property or personal belongings of any employee,

      member or guest may be suspended or have their membership revoked.

 

10.  No alcohol is to be removed from the Clubhouse by anyone for any reason, except when a scheduled

       outside event permits alcohol to be served outside.  In that case, alcohol may not be removed from

       the property.

 

11.  No extensions on memberships:  Dues must be paid in full to the end of each year or all privileges

       are revoked.  Any member who has not renewed their dues for (2) two consecutive years prior to the

       current year, must rejoin as a new member or back pay all dues for the previous years and current year

       to receive a valid card.

 

12.  Membership cards can only be picked up by the member whose name is on the card or previous

       Arrangements have been made with the secretary.  Identifications may be asked for.

 

13.  Guests are admitted three (3) times per year to Club or Club activities that are not open to public after

       which they must apply for membership.  (spouses, children age 21 or older, and significant others

       included)

 

14.  Any verbal threats made toward any employee, board member, member or guest may be grounds for

       suspension or revocation of membership.  Any person who initiates a fight on purpose may be

       suspended or have their membership revoked.  Any person who physically harms another member,

       board member, employee or guests in the act of a fight will have their membership either suspended

       or revoked unless they are trying to break up a fight or defend themselves or another person.

 

15.  No one under 18 allowed to gamble.

 

16.  No children under 14 allowed to use pool table without supervision by an adult member.  (Adult must

       be near children while playing pool.)  Please do not use the pool table as a chair or table.  DO NOT sit

       drinks, food or your behind on table.  Any member, members children or guest who damages pool

       table will be responsible for damages.

 

17.  Any violations, grievances, or complaints should be submitted in writing to a board member to be

        presented to the board of directors at the monthly meeting for action.

 

18.  All children must be under adult supervision.  They cannot be left unattended.  Adults must sit with child

       at a table.  No children at bar.

 

19.  No member allowed to be in Club before 11 am unless they are asked to volunteer for an event or

       other  activity or they are there for Club business.

 

       ALL OFFENSES OF A NON-VIOLENT NATURE OF THESE SAID HOUSE RULES #1, 2, 3, 4,

       5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 WILL BE SUBJECT TO:

 

       1st offence:  Verbal warning by bartender on duty or board member after complaint is received either

       in writing or verbally by another member, employee, guest or board member.

 

       2nd offence:  7 days suspension approved by board.  Written suspension letter will be sent by

       certified mail plus a suspension letter will be left at bar.  Suspension will start as soon as decision by

       board to suspend is made.

 

       3rd offence:  30 days suspension approved by board.  Written suspension letter will be sent by

       certified mail  plus a suspension letter will be left at bar.  Suspension will start as soon as decision by

       board to suspend is made.

 

       Any member who has more than four (4) offences of a non-violent nature of the house rules, may/will

       have their membership revoked.  All decisions concerning warnings or suspension is at the

       discretion of the board.

       VIOLENT OFFENCES:  HOUSE RULES #9, 14 OR ANY ACT THAT CAN BE CHARGED AS

       A CRIME IN ANY COURT IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA MAY/WILL

       BE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE REVOCATION OF ONE’S MEMBERSHIP.

       REVOCATION OF MEMBERSHIP IS UP TO THE DECISION OF THE BOARD.
